Presentation transcript:

Mrs Porter said that the carrier bags being woven into a swan on the fence outside school is not finished. The reason behind this is Eco Team’s link to the Earth World Summit which is currently taking place. They are raising awareness of how plastic is becoming a real problem in the world. They were also involved in an assembly this week reminding children to recycle their plastic and not litter around our community. Well done Eco Team!

Hmmmmmm…. Think PLASTIC! Think RECYCLE!

Minutes from meeting held on Wednesday 14th May 2014 during Assembly Time in the ICT suite. Welcome by Chair The Earth Summit…….. Great News!! We are very excited as are one of the winning entries. We are going to put our names in the hat to see who will be going to Parliament! A School Council Rep will join us too! Litter The Big Tidy up This was very successful and Mr Payne is carrying out a weekly tidy/litter pick with Reps and a rota of children. School Newsletter We asked Mr Moss to put a message in the newsletter about our poster and reminding everyone
