Slip testing…. In-house testing among three operators was performed to develop technique such that our variance was no greater than the variance reported in support of the ASTM method listing. Sampling frequencies were selected to support detecting a minimum difference of 0.05 in slip index (S.I.) on a scale of , with 95% confidence.

DESIGN - Slip Testing Three time periods were tested: pre-Clean 3 weeks 6 weeks On a test date, the selected tile in each area was first tested dry from each tile side (to account for any graininess), then tested wet from each side. Twenty-four measurements were made in each area under both wet and dry conditions, resulting in 72 dry, 72 wet, and 144 total measurements.
