Contrast Repetition Alignment Proximity Index

Contrast Contrast is the element of making things different from one another. For example when using a light color off set it with a darker background or vice versa. As seen on this page I have used the element of contrast with the white background and using a black text to off set it. Go Home Go Forward Quiz

Repetition This is the visual element of a design throughout the piece. You can repeat anything from images to line thicknesses/size. For example throughout this PowerPoint I have repeated the Go Home, Quiz, and Go Forward buttons. Go Home Go Forward Quiz

Alignment This is the element of not placing things on the page arbitrarily. Having everything aligned on one side and not right down the middle unless it’s an opening or index page. For example throughout this PowerPoint in all of my text boxes my bullet points have been aligned to the right. As well my Go Forward, Quiz, and Go home buttons have been aligned on the bottom. Go Home Go Forward Quiz

Proximity The idea of proximity is that things that relate to each other should be next to each other. For example if I have a photo of a puppy and one of a fish, I would put things that relate to the puppy closer to the picture of the puppy and same with the fish. Go Home Go Forward Quiz Scales Lives in water Fur Lives on land

Font There are two different types of fonts. First there is Serif which uses tails at the end of certain letters and secondly there is San Serif which is more blocky. An example of San Serif would be times new roman since it does not have tails that come off of letters such as t and a. This font of Viner Hand ITC would be an example of Serif since as you can see at the end of a lot of the letters you can see a significant tail. Go Home Go Forward Quiz

Proximity is the idea that like things are near each other, true or false? Go Home Go Forward TrueFalse

Quiz Go Home Go Forward False The two types of font are Serif and San serif, True or False?

Quiz Go Home Go Forward False When you have a dark background you should contrast it with dark lettering as well, True or False?

Good Job! Go Back
