What does North Star do? North Star began as a specialist adventure activity company in 1997 Fujairah Adventure Centre opened in 1999 Operate adventure, community service and curriculum-based trips to destinations across the world

Paul Flaherty – Company Founder Paul is an ex-military man who spent 10 years in the British Special Air Service. He spent many years as an Instructor in different parts of the world, where he taught leadership, survival and extreme outdoor adventure skills in many types of terrain and climatic conditions. He is also a qualified SAS medic. Paul has a good working knowledge of local geography, natural history and culture.

Outdoor Instructors All North Star instructors are suitably qualified experts in their particular fields.
