ELTIS TRAINING: Mobility Management and Travel Awareness DIFFERENCES BETWEEN MM AND INFRASTRUCTURE MEASURES

ELTIS TRAINING: Mobility Management and Travel Awareness DEFINITION Travel awareness and Mobility management activities are ”Soft Policy” approaches. They can be used as independent activities but also together with ”Hard policies” like infrastructure investments. Here it can maximise the benefits of the investments.

ELTIS TRAINING: Mobility Management and Travel Awareness DEFINITION MOBILITY MANAGEMENT Mobility Management is primarily a demand-oriented approach to passenger and freight transport that involves new partnerships and a set of tools to support and encourage a change of attitude and behaviour towards sustainable modes of transport. These tools are usually based on information and organisation, co- ordination and require promotion.
