NATO LIONS NEWSLETTER No 1 dated 23 rd February Welcome to the very first Newsletter designed to keep you informed of forthcoming events, provide reports from games and generally a means to pass humour about club players and officials for their misdemeanours. Fixtures. It has been a very frustrating period, which has seen the team build an excellent foundation through its management and the players commitment. Unfortunately this has all been let down by a lack of fixtures. Once again Torre Del Greco cancelled at late notice, therefore the next game is currently planned for Sat 13 th March at Carney Park Versus CUS Napoli. Forthcoming Activities. Attached to this Newsletter is a performa detailing planned future activities, including the UK tour (26 Apr – 02 May). You are kindly requested to fill in the performa at the earliest opportunity, and no later than 5 th March. Pass it to the Team Captain, Manager, or fellow player if you are not available to attend training, in order that future plans can commence to support these events. NATO LIONS Web Site. The web site is an excellent means of keeping in contact for future events, team statistics, training, photographs, videos and reports from the games. Please register at the above web address, even if you only have limited access to the internet. It is also a very efficient means of keeping in touch through its capability! Newsletter Content. Please pass your ideas, comments and content for inclusion in the March Newsletter to Graham Pardew or via the web site. Caption Competition. A prize will be allocated at the next Weds training session, for the best caption to the photograph below. New Blue Kit. Our new Blue NATO LIONS Kit should arrive next week.
