On March 5, 2013, the Board of Education took action to postpone the decision to close Tokay Colony Elementary School for one year. Estimated cost of technology: $180, additional access points: $1, laptops (based on current enrollment): $67, interactive whiteboards with projectors: $24, teacher workstations & curricular devices: $9,000 - Classroom software (Rosetta Stone, READ 180, iRead, etc.): $25,000 - Tech support and training: $54,000 5

RECOMMENDATION Place current Tokay Colony students at either Live Oak or Lockeford per their parents’/guardians’ preference beginning with the school year. Establish the attendance boundary for new families. 6
