TESTIMONIAL AIM-IRS National Dear AIM-IRS Scholarship Committee Members I was honored to be selected as the first Tier II national scholarship recipient. Thanks to your generous support I am the first in my family to complete a post-graduate program. On December 10, 2011, I completed the goal of obtaining my Master’s in Business Administration from Averett University. It is my hope that I can use the knowledge I obtained through this program to help others. Through the support AIM-IRS and its members, I have been able to complete a numerous personal and professional goals in my life. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for AIM-IRS and all it has done for me. Just as AIM-IRS has done for me, I will continue to support others in their quest to improve both personally and professionally. Once again, I offer my sincerest thanks for your support and generosity. Sincerely, Patrick Brown

TESTIMONIAL To whom it may concern I would like to thank you and the selection committee for selecting me as a 2011 recipient of the Modestine Haynes Scholarship. I found out about the scholarship a few weeks before joining AIM. Ms. Haynes' inspirational story gave me motivation for wanting more out of my IRS career. This scholarship came at a time when I least expected it, but needed it the most. Mr. Franklin, I am very honored that the committee selected me for such a prestigious award. Angela Parker 2011

TESTIMONIAL To whom it may concern My name is Cassandra Price, and I am a senior Paralegal major at The University of Memphis. I am honored to receive the Modestine Haynes Scholarship this year. I would like to thank you for your generosity and thoughtfulness in regards to this award I am pleased with the education I have received at The University of Memphis, as well as the invaluable learning experiences this institution has made available to me that have expanded and strengthened my education. As I move to the next phase of my life, I will remain strongly tied to my roots at The College of University and the people, like you, who has helped shaped my collegiate experience. Thank you for your gift and the “immeasurable” impact is has had on me.

TESTIMONIAL The Modestine Haynes Scholarship helped me greatly because I didn't have the funds to attend school prior to receiving the scholarship in 2007, this is my second time receiving the funding. I received my Bachelors' degree in 2008 thanks to the scholarship which allowed me to obtain my Masters this year in May 09. I count it a blessing and a privilege for the funding in these economic times it's very beneficial to me. I couldn't have achieved what I've done these past few years without this help. Thank you very much for allowing me to accomplish what I thought was impossible. This year my journey will be complete I'll have my Doctorate I'm reaching my goal. Thank you for believing in me. Donald J Williams

TESTIMONIAL Good morning, Once again I would like to thank the AIM-IRS Scholarship committee for selecting me as a recipient of the Modestine Haynes Scholarship. The funds have been applied to my course(s) which is a blessing and I'm receiving A's & B's in my completed courses. I've told our local Scholarship Chairperson to checkout AIM-IRS website. There are not a lot of GS-7 & below grades here in Charlotte, but hopefully the word will get out to those in larger offices because AIM-IRS is a good organization to be apart of and encourage those to apply for upcoming awards. TESTIMONIAL TO: AIM-IRS National Scholarship Committee From: Janice Ousley RE: Testimonial I would like to thank the AIM-IRS scholarship committee for selecting me to receive the Modestine Haynes Memorial Scholarship in This scholarship has helped me reach my goal of completion of my Master’s degree in For years, I was unable to continue with my education due to lack of funds. AIM-IRS helped me overcome the obstacle of lack of finances so that I could achieve this milestone. It has been said that knowledge is power and that knowledge is the only thing that another man cannot take away from you. Whenever I look at my diploma, I will be reminded that I could not have done it without you. Thank you, AIM-IRS, for giving the gift of knowledge and power to your members. Sincerely, Janice Ousley AIM-IRS, Memphis Chapter
