Abusive relationships Emotional, physical, sexual abuse will not go away with time, It will most likely get worse with time Each person has right to be respected, not be hurt, and to live without fear Long term price of staying in an abusive relationship are too costly compared to short term pain of ending a relationship

How Does a Person in an Abusive Relationship Feel Ashamed, guilty, mistrustful, worthless, helpless, angry Blame themselves Trouble trusting people Avoid intimacy with others Doubt ability to judge others accurately Deserves abuse Starts to believe what abuser says about them
