We often look for happiness to come from the things around us work, relationships, sex, drugs, alcohol, partying, luxury living, etc. Now let’s GET REAL churches often tell us that these things are bad but they neglect to be real about one thing… many times these things feel good … And it’s not until those feelings of emptiness return that start thinking we need more and how can we get it…

Get Real Moment #1 Remember we said this was not going to be a come to “Jesus talk” it is a “Get Real” talk… So don’t quit now ! The fact that you are here at this moment, at this instance reading this message is no accident. This moment was designed just for you…. So don’t quit now ! Let’s look at some others that may be thinking just like you. You may even find yourself in some of their statements…

Get Real Moment #2 F.I.N.E. And that’s to put it mildly. We spend our days and nights trying not to let others know just how F.I.N.E. we really are… Your life is fragile and over in an instant. Nothing you gain here can be brought with you when you take that last breath. Yet the choices you make last for eternity. You are right, most of us are just F.I.N.E (FINE –Frustrated, Insecure, Neurotic, And Emotional) There is nothing on the planet that is going to give you the peace, love, joy, hope, and purpose that you seek. Ok hold on I know this is going to come as a shock but here goes… "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.” "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. Knowing that God exists is not enough. Look, knowing that there is a God won’t free you from sin. Let’s face it, even Satan and his demons believe in God. They even know the power of God. So to simply know that God is there is not gonna help you. “You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that and shudder.” James 2:19 Knowing that God exists is not enough. Even the demons believe that and shudder.” James 2:19 It’s cool I know there is a God… Get Real Moment #3 Believe it or not, Satan and His followers even know there is an eternal Hell and an eternal Heaven, but again just like many of us they’ve decided to ignore the truth. And do nothing with that information.

Away from me, you evildoers!’ ” - Matthew 7:22-23 So you go to church, you do good deeds, you read your bible when time permits, you don’t drink (a lot), you don’t smoke, and you don’t have sex (well if you’re not in a relationship). So compared to what other people are doing you are a really good person. Right? That’s according to Exodus 20:1-17 in the Bible Have you told a lie, ever took something you weren’t suppose to, or maybe you looked at someone else and thought man their fine, sexy or why couldn’t I have met you first… Well guess what you are a liar, thief, and are lustful. That’s according to Exodus 20:1-17 in the Bible You either belong to God Or You belong to Satan !! There Is No middle ground !! You either belong to God Or You belong to Satan !! There Is No middle ground !! And if You Haven’t Accepted Christ As Your Lord And Savior You Have already made a choice to follow Satan… Get Real Moment #3 In other words… If you have not accepted Christ as your Lord and your Savior now He will not know you when He returns to take His people to Heaven.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” “ Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Get Real Moment #4 It’s hard to believe sometimes but God loves you in spite of your craziness, FuBAR moments, bad choices, and messed up attitudes. IT’S A CHOICE! Satan tries to keep God’s love for you on the DL. He tells you that you are worthless, that no one cares, that no one understands. You can’t be good enough to gain Salvation therefore you can’t be bad enough to keep form getting Salvation. IT’S A CHOICE! You choose to accept Christ as your Savior.

So, we want to be a Christian and everything, its just we want to live a little first… So, we want to be a Christian and everything, its just we want to live a little first… What’s the saying… life is hard and then you die… but when we have a relationship with Christ it makes life a lot easier to deal with. GET REAL Moment #5 HAVE YOU COUNTED THE COST? HAVE YOU COUNTED THE COST? A relationship with Christ is more than a get out of hell free card. Won't you sit down and figure out how much it will cost and if you have enough money to pay for it?” – Luke 14:28 (CEV) When you say no to God its important that you calculate the cost. Often we just think of choosing God when we die but never think of the impact God makes on the living.

You have a choice to make because now you know the truth… TIME TO MAKE A CHOICE: THERE ARE NO MORE EXCUSES YOU NOW KNOW THE TRUTH…

The choice is yours Jesus will not force you to be with Him…He loves you too much for that.
