GP Appraisal skills training day Friday June 9th 2006 Venue: Collingwood College Durham This training is suitable for: GP trainers wishing to develop basic appraiser skills to enable them to carry out more effective appraisal of their GPRs, innovative trainees etc. GPs wishing to gain skills to carry out appraisals of GP colleagues for their PCT. This first day will provide a basis to enable participants to carry out 2-3 supervised appraisals in the following few months. A second day is planned for Friday 13th October, when more advanced skills will be covered, and experiences from the appraisals carried out can be shared. The course will be run by Dr Di Jelley, Deanery appraisal advisor, and Dr Fiona Galloway, Cumbria appraiser and GP Tutor, supported by Dr Malcolm Thomas. The venue is Collingwood College in Durham-directions overleaf. The cost is £150 per delegate-cheques payable to North of England Faculty.
