In 2008, 66% of HEIs in the UK had some kind of TNE partnerships Situation has matured For example: “Less is more … Exeter has built up a network of agreements with over 180 universities in 36 countries….. nevertheless, the true measure of success in respect of international partnerships is not the number of MOUs signed, but the extent to which our students and staff have meaningful engagement with their counterparts”.
