Los números

Los números de 200 a Cien (Ciento) Doscientos (as) Trescientos (as) Cuatrocientos (as) Quinientos (as) Seiscientos (as) Setecientos (as) Ochocientos (as) Novecientos(as) Mil Un millón Ciento is used in numbers greater than 100 ex. 140 = ciento cuarenta Numbers agree in number and gender with the nouns they modify. Un millón is followed by de before nouns.

Los puntos y las comas In Spanish, decimals and commas are used in reverse of the way they are used in English. 1,749 would be written in Spanish. 4.5 would be written as 4,5 8, would be written as 8.372,95 Y “y” is only used between tens and ones, not after hundreds, thousands, or millions
