UPDATE ON OVERALL PROGRAM GOALS Goal 1: To heighten awareness of the disparity in breast cancer among African American women through education, engagement and empowerment at a grass roots level. Goal 2: To encourage BWA’s Collaborating Organizations to make breast cancer a priority within their national and local agendas Goal 3: To encourage BWA’s Collaborating Organizations to engage their members by integrating this breast cancer program into their existing calendar of programs.
