Preface Our school was founded in It is located on the banks of Hsin-Tien River, close to BiTan. Our beautiful campus is filled with a humane atmosphere. School Motto – “Love and Ideal” - Over the past twelve years, we have been working hard, with respect, tolerance and concern, to cultivate this garden. With a humane environment surrounded, each student in Hsin-Tien Senior High School is trained to be vigorous and healthy. Teaching - Our school has professional teachers and equipment. The ways of teaching are active and diversified. Learning - Our school emphasizes refined learning in holistic education, and imparts life education as well.

Development of School Affairs (Cont'd) Teachers - All teachers in our school are qualified and excellent. Graduation from graduate school: 45 persons Completion of 40-credit graduate school: 50 persons Graduation from university: 13 persons Equipment All equipment is provided to meet the requirements of profession and normal teaching, but the equipment in part of specialized classrooms leaves something to be desired.

Innovation of School Affairs Develop actively the features of the school to compete with other schools. Implement student-based curriculum to motivate the student’s multiple potential. Improve the knowledge on the computer to establish a technological environment on campus. Encourage the teacher to study further to heighten professional knowledge and status. Increase the teacher's consulting knowledge and ability to practice the consulting work at school. Expand the scale of participation in strategies at school to show the democratic atmosphere on campus.

Innovation of School Affairs (Cont'd) Strengthen the traditions of teaching experience to ensure an excellent teaching atmosphere. Carry out the spirit of sexual equality to build up a good working environment. Look for the identification with the community to take new challenges. Practice passport certification to enhance the learning spirit of public services.

Strategies of School Management Practice innovation of school affairs to develop the features of the school. Stimulate multiple intelligences to improve self- development. Raise the quality of the teaching to develop professional spirit Provide sufficient teaching equipment to enhance the learning efficiency. Practice the democratic spirit to participate in administration. Develop interactivity with the community to share social resources together. Facilitate the student’s innate ability to pay much attention to learning activities.

Directions and Operating Ways for Development of School Affairs for the Future In administration of school affairs –Stipulate the regulations of the organization –Practice the organization rules of the school affairs meeting –Develop the system of intramural informative management –Establish the system of image identification at school –Build up crisis handling Assist the development of Teacher’s Association

In the teaching and self-growth of the teacher –Encourage the teacher to study further at graduate school –Plan diversified intramural study –Encourage the foundation of the teacher’s reading society Implement administration meetings Directions and Operating Ways for Development of School Affairs for the Future (Cont'd)

In the learning of the student –Practice the system of selective curriculum –Put emphasis on the student’s self-studying ability –Strengthen the consulting work for students –Spread the student’s reading society –Extend arts education –Practice actively the features of the school development

Conclusion The second item in The Base of Education states that the aim of education is to make the student respect human rights, protect ecological environment, and understand and care for different countries, folks, genders, religions and cultures, so as to be a modernized civilian with national consciousness and international vision. With a modest attitude to accept the guests’ instructions, our school will continue to realize the aim of holistic education in a spirit of concern, transcendence, innovation and ambition.
