So what about us today? Jesus commanded, “Go into all the world.” Why?  to “preach the gospel to all creation” (Mark 16:15)  to be “the salt of the earth” (Matthew 5:13)  to be “the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14)  to “appear as lights in the world... in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation” (Philippians 2:15)

So what about us today? 2 Corinthians 5:9-10 “I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people; I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters; for then you would have to go out of the world.”

God has designed you to be set apart and protected from the dangers of the world.

Oh to be like Thee blessed Redeemer, This is my constant longing and prayer. Gladly I’ll forfeit all of earth’s treasures, Jesus, Thy perfect likeness to wear.
