Presentation transcript:

All Year Groups Bellahouston Academy/GSOS hockey team Bella/GSOS have qualified for the Scottish Schools Cup Final after a hard fought victory away to Loretto School, winning Bellahouston started well and dominated the early stages but a goal against the run of play meant we were behind 1-0. Andrew Duff remained cool from the penalty spot to equalise (1-1) just before half time. In the 2 nd half, the game was very competitive and, at times, frantic as both teams pushed for a winner. With 10mins to go, Luke Cranney scored with a great shot high in to the goal and minutes later Neil McIntyre pushed the ball in from close range. Loretto were shell-shocked from 2 goals in 4 minutes when a brilliant link up from Andrew and Luke saw Luke roll the ball in to an open goal to seal an impressive 4-1 away victory. Next game: v Stewarts Melville College, Edinburgh Where: National Hockey Centre, Glasgow Green Commonwealth Stadium When: Friday the 21 st March Team: Jack Cochrane, Dean Baber, Chris McFadden, Fabian Goldie, Antony Small, Jock Breckenridge, Luke Cranney, Rory McClure, Jack Jamieson, Andrew Duff, Neil McIntyre, Fraser Ward, Edward McGuire
