Presentation transcript:

The Focus: -Raising awareness, demonstrating the importance of water and preventing water loss. Target/Area: 4-6 years old preschool children. Expected Outcome: Encouraging children to prevent water loss in their own communities and spread awareness. For the children to acquire the importance of the information that was demonstrated, and share their new experiences with their parents.

The Procedure: An outline is crafted and various positions are assigned. The story, which was to raise awareness among children, was prepared. Cartoons are sketched by the members of the committee. The storyboard based on cartoons is constructed. Professionals are found and contacted. The budget is determined and money is raised. The animation is assembled by the professionals and is presented to various schools. The storybook is printed and distributed to kindergartens in participant schools.

Achievements: An outline was crafted, and various positions were assigned. The story, which was to raise awareness among children, was prepared successfully. The storyboard based on cartoons was constructed. The storybook was created. Professionals were found and sponsors were contacted. This storybook was printed and distributed in Enka Schools kindergarten. Story reading sessions were organized in school and committee members were responsible of doing the reading.

Areas That Weren’t Fulfilled: Cartoons were not sketched. However, Looney Tunes characters were used in the story. Professionals were found and contacted but we could not negotiate on a reasonable amount due to financial shortage. Money was not raised. The animation wasn’t assembled, thus not presented to various schools. The storybook was printed but due to unfortunate circumstances it was not distributed to kindergartens.

Reasons: Due to time shortage the cartoons were not sketched by the members of the committee but instead supplied from the internet. Organizations to raise money were not accomplished since permissions weren’t given by the school administration. Animators asked for abundant amounts of money which the committee could not provide. Due to lack of communication within the committee, the distribution of the storybook among schools was not achieved.

Problems Faced: The committee struggled for negotiation with animators and companies that may fund the project. Organization among the committee members was not successfully achieved and the committee failed to include some of its members. Communication was not effectively executed within the committee. Time constraint limited the productiveness of the committee.

Suggestions: Organization should have been more systematic in managing the aims. Committee members should have been encouraged more to serve for the determined purpose. Communication within the committee should have been more inclusive. Time should have been more managed more delicately. The committee members should have been more eager to make a change.
