 At first they were used to observe the enemy.  Later on people added machine guns to the planes to make fighter pilots.  Russia and Italy made one of the first bombers

 They weren’t really accurate so they weren’t really to effective because they missed a lot.  The planes were not to effective even if the accuracy was good because they only could store 2 to 3 bombs in the plane.

 They were used for the bombing raid against Britain.  They also had the L31 there as well.  They came from Northern Germany and when all the way to the United Kingdom.  So Germany was the one to commence the bombing run on Britain.

 Yes they were decently effective.  But Britain had air forces that quickly responded to these attacks and quickly went to help there country from destruction.  The British defeated Germany and won the battle.
