IT DOESN’T END By Amreeta Singh
Page 1 “Uh ow, not again. OUCH.” I never knew riding a horse would be so painful. It was a piping hot morning. Or should I say BOILING! My cheeks were hot pink. I can feel the sweat dripping down my hair. It feels like there’s smoke comin’ out of my helmet. Traveling up and down on the families horse trek. The outrageous horse Sparkles. It had brown hair and a black mane. Suddenly it come to a stop. With two paths. The whole family was frightened. One path looked like it lead to a whole heap of hills. And the other path looks like it leads to a place where we could feed the horse’s. What should we do? Go to page… 42, if you want to take the hill path Or page 52, if you want to feed the horse.
Page 42 “ So lets go this way,” yells Dad as he wipes all the sweat off the top of his forehead. We get ready for the bumpy ride. The glamorous horse Joey, the one with the marvellous white body heads off. A few minutes later…… It started. The wing. It went as wild as a lawnmower. Which made the hills unnoticeable. After listening to the horses. Huff and puff. We reached a river. As we walked though the river. Our feet, they got soaked by the freezing fresh water. It was as clean as a sparkling clean glass. We found out that the…… Track had ended. “Ow, not the track. It ended,” mumbled Anjena as she wondered down the river “Ya think,” yelled Arjun in a sarcastic voice. As we wondered where to go. The horse, they head off down the river. We all yelled “CALM DOWN” But they didn’t. “What are we doing to do?” I shouted, as the horse’s galloped like there was no tomorrow. As the horse’s slowed down. We realised that there was waterfall. Straight ahead. We quickly turned the horse’s around. As fast as we could. The horses became scared of the waterfall. They ran off like the wind was pulling them along. As we reached the path we slowed down. The horses mournfully strode back. To the some path, and walked all the way back to where we started from. The whole families faces went bright purple because it was so hot and we all now were we were going next the BEACH! The End
Page 52 “Let go this way,” I sighed as I thoughtfully kicked my horse, so it would start walking. Then horses start galloping along the track We arrived at a little steam that we had to walk over. After walking for about 2 or more minutes from the stream. We came to a little paddock where there was some grass and other type of food to feed the horses. We hop off the horses so they can eat the grass. Right by the horses was some water. About 10 minutes later, we hop back on the horse and galloped off. “Uh ow,” yelled Arjun as he angrily came to the stop. “What is it,” I replied as it slowly got to him. “There another two paths. It looks like one leads to a bridge, and it looks like the other leads into a huge forest,” said Arjun as if he was about to fall off the horse. What should we do? Go to page 101, if you want to take the path that leads to the bridge. Or page 152, if you want to take the path that leads to a huge forest.
Page 101 As we start laughing the horses head off. Click clock click clock. We see the bridge. The horses, they, they…. RUN OFF! But that wasn’t a bag run off. It was an excited run off. They galloped to the bridge. We looked to the right hand side. It was an eye-catching waterfall. With a remarkable rainbow running throw it. The bridge was gleaming white. It was about 5m long. We slowly reach the end of the bridge. We took a picture of the outstanding waterfall. As we took the picture… The waterfall made a big splash onto the camera. “Well that didn’t work well,” mumbled Anjena as she carefully flicked her hair back. We head off around the corner, there it was. “The barn, we had made it after all,” I whispered to myself as I happily got off sparkles and danced around the place as if I had won the rugby world cup. THE END
Page 152 “Well lets go this way,” answered Dad as he happily got to the front of the line. “Ouch,” yelled Anjena as she went thought the trees. “What is it?” replied Dad as he stopped the horse. “Something just bit me…. And there it is again,” shouted Anjena as she jumped around on the horse. “Ouch, I got one too,” I shouted as I looked around thoughtfully. Everyone was wondering what was biting us. We found out that they were coming from all of the trees. “Neigh,” yelled the horses one at a time. “It looks like the horses are getting bitten as well” I cried as I tried to calm sparkles. “Ahhhh, slow down joey,” shouted Arjun. “There going mad” called Anjena. “Ahhhhhhhh” The End
