Scavenger LDD, Pajman Sarafzadeh

Synopsis The Player must find the Orc Sword of Champions in order to proceed. To do this the player meets a witch who guides him. The witch informs the Player of the last known location of the sword, hidden in a Nord funeral cave. The Player enters the cave and finds the sword has been destroyed. He returns to the witch a failure but is offered a second posibility, the Mage, Elvastein, can offer a recipe to rebuild the Sword. The Mage is a prisoner of a bandit force. The Player breaks into the bandit camp, and must rescue the mage who inturn rewards the player with the recipe. But the recipe includes exotic items. The witch then sends the player to a dangerous cavern, where he must defeat traps and monsters to find the material he needs

Goals The player must clear three separate dungeon’s, one at a time, to continue with the story Each dungeon varies in theme, color and lighting, enemies and goal to grant variety Once the last dungeon is completed and the player should have a tempering recipe for a new unique weapon as well as the raw materials, setting the player up for the next level

THEME The three dungeons are different in art, pacing and enemies to be representative of there inhabitants. 1)A small Nordic Cave system, dark in lighting, with a mix of undead Nords 2)A medium sized Imperial Dungeon, well lit, with Bandit Knights and cold stone architecture 3)A massive natural cavern, complete with massive waterfall, multiple traps and angered animal denizens. Brown and filled with fog

Quest Stages Quest Stages are separated between two separate works, The World Level, created by Yan and the Dungeon levels, created by Paj Yan World Paj Level 1)The Player is sent on a quest to speak with the Orc Chieftain 2)The Chieftain Stewart demands the Player retrieve the Sword of Champions to compete in the Orc arena and become champion so as to prove himself worthy of meeting the Chief 3)The Chieftain sends the Player to Moira the Hag to help find the sword 4)Moira sends the Player to a haunted Nord ruin to retrieve the sword 5)The Player clears dungeon 1 only to find out that the Sword of Champions is destroyed, he returns to the hag Moira 6)Moira informs the player that the Mage Elvestein can give the player a recipe to create a replacement sword, but the mage is in a bandit prison 7)The Player clears the Prison and rescues the mage, getting the sword recipe as reward

8) The player returns to Moira and is told of how to collect the Ingredient 9) The player searches the world for raw materials 10) The player clears a dangerous dungeon to get the more exotic materials Quest Stages, continued

The Cave of Trials, First Floor The player is sent to find key ingredients for the sword of champions. The dungeon is filled with traps, monsters and highlighted by a water fall.
