Copyright © 2009, Biddle Consulting Group, Inc. 3 Welcome! This presentation provides an overview of the OPAC Export Wizard feature. We hope that you find this presentation helpful The Export Wizard helps you to transport names, demographic information (race, gender, age group), test scores, and more from the OPAC program to other programs or to locations on your computer where the data can be examined Important! If a test taker has taken the OPAC test more than once, only the most recent score for each test will be exported

Copyright © 2009, Biddle Consulting Group, Inc. 4 Hint: Before you begin the export process, write down the names of the tests for which you wish to export data You will need this information during the export process

Copyright © 2009, Biddle Consulting Group, Inc. 5 “Screen shot” of the OPAC Administrator’s Program You start the export process from the OPAC Administrator’s Screen

Copyright © 2009, Biddle Consulting Group, Inc. 6 Select the names of those people whose scores you wish to export by clicking in the box(es) to the left of their ID number.

Copyright © 2009, Biddle Consulting Group, Inc. 8 Hint #2: You can limit the candidates who appear in the field to the right by creating “filters” in the area provided on the left (see above). 4/ 4/09 6/30/09 For example, you can filter by the time frame in which test takers registered the first time they took the OPAC test; by those who tested within a specified time frame; those who tested using a specified AutoTest code; and/or those who took a specific test.

Copyright © 2009, Biddle Consulting Group, Inc. 9 If you have chosen how you want to filter the data, you must click on the “Update List” button to apply the filter. Then, only those who were not filtered out will remain. Note: You do not need to click on “Update List” if you do not filter the names.
