World War II Overview: The Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor is one of the most memorable events of World War Two. It caused the United States to officially enter World War Two not only against Japan, but soon against Nazi Germany in Europe. However, the Pearl Harbor attack was just one part of the story of the Pacific Theater. Key events led up to the attack, and key battles eventually led to an American Victory against the Japanese by 1945.
