The Workshop Joint Science Education Panel of the Academy, a body under the umbrella of Indian Academy of Sciences (Bangalore), Indian National Science Academy (New Delhi) and the National Academy of Sciences, India (Allahabad) endeavor towards an opportunity especially for the undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph. However, to ensure the participation, prior registration is necessary. The Host University of North Bengal (NBU) is the only place for higher education and research in this part of the country. The University is celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year. The Department of Chemistry is the largest among all the Departments in the University. The alumni of this Department are well placed in various academic and research positions of acclaimed institutes and organizations in the country and abroad. The Department is supported by UGC and DST through SAP and FIST programmes. How to reach The University is located at the outskirt of Silliguri, the gateway to the North East. The nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri. Bagdora airport is 4 km away from the University. Central bus terminus at Silliguri supports the arrival and departure of many buses with the neighboring states/Kolkata. Accommodation Accommodation charges will have to be borne by the participants.
