Gecko Media Systems is a complete Media Technologies integrations Company. Because we are not a mere audio and video company, but yet a business class server and network systems company, we are able to combine multiple services on a Media Computer built by us based on the specific needs of the project. In other words, we identify services normally reserved as proprietary and make them seamless and affordable by integrating them properly. Our remotes are all scratch written programs and we are very good at it. We integrate all the smart home technologies into a hand held LCD remote that even “non-techno-savvy” individuals can be trained on in less than ten minutes, even with the most complicated of installations. We have turned out some pretty cool stuff such as the Conference Rooms at Dovre International. The Gecko designed and built tables actually contain the computer and the subwoofer inside. Other key features are the 5.1 surround and nearly invisible speakers flush mounted in the walls and ceiling. VOIP phone system running to the table with complete “hands-free” operation, wireless and wired network connectivity in the table, Perfect High Definition with no exposed cables, of course, and equipment located in the cabinets completely concealed and controlled with a Universal, one-touch computer programmed remote. The lights are on dimmers and also controlled by the remote and over the internet. A surveillance system is also coexisting with the videoconferencing capturing and media computer. Surveillance is set for remote viewing from any terminal on the planet with an internet connection (and from PDAs and cell phones) and features such as the HVAC the conference room schedulers can be logged into remotely and manipulated

The process involves reviewing the print or walking the home or business. Next we discuss exactly how you would like the home or business to function once complete, specifically how the various systems will be utilized and what is important to you, prioritizing the various components. Following that we establish a budget or target number that you are comfortable with. I import your blueprints into my design program and we identify on it where all the various hardware controls, equipment and cabling will be. I will process this data completely and articulately produce a very understandable home spreadsheet and home print that breaks out the various components of the project and their associated costs. This allows us to review the various aspects of the system and modify based on functionality and price. It may take a few of these reviews to settle on an actual plan. These planning steps are critical if you want to end up with what you expect and stay within budget. I am very proficient at facilitating this process and ensuring you get what you actually want!

The list goes on and I could list 50 homes and high end offices of similar scope with numerous projects we could walk that have been completed by Gecko. I am an integrator for all technologies. I have been in the computer arena, specifically Media oriented and Enterprise Storage, for many years and audio and video nearly my entire life. I have a MCSC certified IT person, an on-staff licensed electrician, a cabinet builder and multiple contractors for construction aspects of the project. We design and build all our Gecko Media Boxes and they are visible and controlled from any monitor / TV allowing for all types of streaming media and providing complete control over your home or office, whether it be on premises or remote. Why I have an advantage on most all other Audio and Video, Smarthome or Computer firms is I understand all the available technologies completely. I know how to integrate them properly without overlapping, yet making them perform to their limits…and then some.
