Nice Work Bill, Now drill them…
Drill 8 holes ½” deep with 3/32” drill bit
Repeat the procedure on the other half. Then glue halves together.
Align Grain and Glue Halves Together.

Turn ball round maintaining consistent wall thickness
Rough Shape and Part Off
Use ¼” Tenon to Friction drive ball
Rotate ball between centers to Finalize Shape
1 / 4” to 3/8” Turn grooves in ball with skew or three point tool.
