Presentation transcript:

WHAT IS RAINWATER HARVESTING?? Collection of clean FREE rainwater from our roof that would otherwise be going “down the drain” Rainwater is re-used through the dwelling by means of a pump and automatic rainwater controller. When rainwater is low the system reverts automatically back to mains – a truly seamless operation! When rains starts filling the tank the system reverts back to rainwater use automatically. The most effective form of water saving available

WHY RAINWATER HARVESTING?? CLEAN FREE WATER MANDATORY IN SOME STATES IS WA GOING TO FOLLOW? WILL SIX STAR EVENTUALLY COVER WATER? HUGE WATER SAVINGS – UP TO 40%! FULLY AUTOMATED NO NEED FOR PROCESSING CAN BE REUSED THROUGH THE HOUSE WITHOUT TREATMENT IN TOILET FLUSHING, LAUNDRY AND FOR GENERAL CLEANING WHOLE OF HOUSE POSSIBLE IF USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH UV OR OTHER APPROVED TREATMENT SYSTEM

Rainwater Harvesting 1LT per Sq Meter per mm of rain Average 200Sq M = approx Lt Laundry = approx Lt per annum Toilets = approx Lt per annum General cleaning/watering 600lt/hour = approx lt (2hrs per week) Enough rainfall to service at least 8 – 9 months of the above

National Rainfall figures
