Stain nine white towels, three each of pureed carrots, dirt, and pureed prunes. Wash first set with just water and set as control group. Wash second set with 1/8 cup of Tide. Wash third set with 1/8 cup of homemade laundry detergent.
Control group as expected, water is not a great stain remover. Tide was a great stain remover for dirt and prunes, but not carrots. Homemade laundry detergent was a good stain remover for dirt, but left a small amount of prune, and a large amount of the carrot stain.
