 Punishment vs Logical Consequences  Logical consequences are supposed to be geared to preserving the “social order” so that children learn to respect the established rules (Kohn, 41)  Teacher is the representative of the social order and imposes a consequence for failing to respect the established rule  Kohn suggests that from a students perspective they are not that different  Temporary fix
