Presentation transcript:

Dear Peaceful Class, Today is the beginning of a special week at PRMS called the Week of Respect. During the week we will be celebrating ways that we are respectful to ourselves, each other, and the school community. One way that we can promote respect is to think of ways to help someone feel included, whether on the playground, cafeteria, or in our classroom. On the special paper which is on your desk, please write one way that you can help someone feel included. We will be posting your responses on the special Week of Respect Wall in the hallway.

Dear Peaceful Classmates, Bullying hurts and we don’t want to get hurt in our classroom or school. Today we are going to make a book that I can read to next year’s class. During Morning Meeting this week we will be working on writing the book together. I need your help. Please write a message that you would like to include in the book that tells people why you shouldn’t bully. You can write it on the Post It and bring it to Morning Meeting. Make sure your name is on it.

Dear Peaceful Classmates, Today we are going to work on writing an anti bullying contract and everyone will have a chance to sign it. Think of one way that YOU can prevent bullying and write it on a Post It. Bring it to Morning Meeting.

Dear Cooperative Classmates, Please write three interesting things about you on the note card but do not put your name on it. Bring them to Morning Meeting.

Good Morning Wonderful Friends, We are on our way to be experts in learning about Mean, Mode, Median and Range. However, I need your help. My idea brain went to sleep. I would like to practice this with the class next week but can’t think of any ideas for a line plot or graph. Please write down some surveys that we can do with the Class for Morning Meeting. I will collect them and begin to use them next week. Please take a Knights Pledge for helping me out.
