Maiden Lake 08/09/2007 Paddling Friends1 Maiden Lake – Thu, Aug 9 Temp 85º, 75 minutes on water. We paddled along the shore in a clock-wise direction. Paddled 3.4 miles (per Barb’s GPS unit). Flip Hartman took off & landed in his float plane. We saw two loons. We saw two ducks and many ducklings. We went to Mulligans for supper.

Maiden Lake 08/09/2007 Paddling Friends3 Before we paddled, we drove past the boat landing road to the area of Camp Lake Resort, known affectionately as the “Gingerbread Cabins.” Camp Lake Resort has three colorful stone cottages, two log cottages and an A-Frame cottage. Each is unique in artistic design, inside and out.
