You are such a loser if you think that! Who are you calling a loser? You idiot!

How do you think these two characters are feeling after this interaction? How are they treating each other? Are they being good listeners? What is the problem? How could the two characters show respect for one another’s opinions?

In partners discuss how they could have been respectful to each other even though they had a difference of opinions. Act out how they could have done this!

In groups of 4 think of a set of rules for: A- giving your opinion B- respecting other people’s opinions Be sure to think about: Making others want to listen to you Understanding others’ opinions Feeling positive Making others feel positive
