A Midsummer Night’s Nightmare CAUGHT ‘YA A Midsummer Night’s Nightmare

Here’s the process! 1. Front board will have the “caught ‘ya” for the day. 2. Students will use the same sheet of paper for a week. Write MLA heading on the upper left hand corner. 3. Then place the title “Caught ‘ya” in the center of the page. 4. The day of the week should be written on the right side, one line down from the title.

NEXT!! After you have set your page up exactly as directed, you will write a correct version of the sentence or sentences that you see on the board. HERE’S THE MODEL AND FIRST ASSIGNMENT

Tuesday Name English 111 Mrs. Gonzalez Week of January 6, 2015 (skip line here) “Caught ‘Ya” Tuesday this is the earthy tale of love impending nuptials trickery mistaken identities and passion which involves fairies sprites nobleman and laborers that takes place in the ancient kingdom of athens greece where mens words were the law and women were subjected to there will

NOW IF YOU HAVE NOT CAUGHT ALL THE ERRORS…. 1.Count the number of errors and put the number in the margin to the right. 2. Use the proofreading symbols on the chart and make the corrections. (When you are finished…) 3. Draw a line under the entry to prepare for the entry on the next day.

Grading I will grade only ONE entry per week…You will not know which one I will choose. I will only take off points for those errors that you did not correct. This means that you can receive an A+ regardless of the number of errors you have made the first time! When you are absent, you will write the day of the week you were absent on the right hand side of the page, and then “absent” where the entry would normally go.
