Indians Today Today most Indians live on reservations. These are special areas where they the Indians live. They go to school here and learn about Indian history customs and traditions. But life on reservations can be hard as they are separated from the rest of society quite a lot.

Conflict The reason that the Indians live on these reservations is because the lost the war with the European Settler. When the settlers first arrived they trade with the Indians, but as more and more settlers arrived the wanted more and more land and took it from the Native American Indians. The Indians were annoyed and upset by this and they began to fight back, and a war started. The Indians won a famous battle called the battle of Little Bighorn.

Little Big Horn The Indians won a famous battle called the battle of Little Bighorn. At this battle General Custer was defeated by Chief Crazy Horse. But they eventually lost the war and were forced onto reservations where many of them died.
