BEFORE CLASS STARTS  It’s a good idea to come at least 30 min before class starts  If the computer is on, restart it  Log on, test all equipment and apps  Print handouts – Print to closest Canon printer at NC (must have code). All other campuses you must bring thumb drive or to the front desk  Call Classroom Tech if needed  Get coffee

HOW DO I TURN ON THE PROJECTOR ?  You should hear a noise, light should change from orange to green  You may have to walk closer to the projector  Select the right input

TESTING TESTING, IS THIS THING ON?  Test all of the technology equipment you will be using  Open all of the apps you need for class  Make sure the volume is where you need it for any videos you maybe playing

WHAT IF IT’S NOT WORKING  Don’t panic  Try troubleshooting your problem  Contact the Classroom Technology Department  Contact the nearest faculty development staff

TROUBLE SHOOTING 101  No power / computer will not turn on = red switch

TROUBLE SHOOTING 101  Blue projector screen = try switching inputs on the projector remote  Wrong screen is showing on the projector = windows key + P  No sound  All else fails, restart the computer  Troubleshooting will help keep your class keep flowing
