Christof : I wish to present you something. Question: What do the audience like to watch?

What’s wrong with my world? Plot description Truman is desperate at the idea of escaping from Seahaven and he is more and more suspicious about the reality of his life. On the other hand, his wife ignores, or tries to ignore how he feels, which drives Truman crazy.

What’s wrong with my world? Question for discussion ----At the very beginning, Meryl says Truman show is a lifestyle. It's a noble life. It is a truly blessed life. What does she mean? Does she love this lifestyle? ----Why Meryl performs in the Truman show while she doesn’t love Truman?

Everyone is on it Plot description Truman’s best friend, Marlon, whom he trust, comes to “do something”. They have an emotional conversation. Ironically, Truman has no idea that he is actually talking to Christof, who is deeply moved by what he himself does.

Everyone is on it Question for discussion ----Imagine you were Marlon, what would you do to Truman?

It is sick Plot description Christiof accepted an interview on the live show. He answers the questions from the audience and interprets his ideas about his product. Here we hear a different voice “ is it moral to do so?”

It is sick Questions for discussion ---- Christof suggests that we used to accept the world as it is, that is reason why Truman never doubts his world. the buried message is that we accept almost everything in our lives without examining it very closely. Do you agree with him?

What to find? Plot description Conquering his fear of water, Truman carefully carries out his escaping from Seahaven. Determined not to give up, he finally reached the end of his world. Does he have the courage to leave his accustomed world and face the unknown real world?

What to find? Questions for discussion: ----Why does Christof treat Truman harder than others? Interpreting his feeling at the idea that Truman might leave the world he created.

What to find? ----Christof says his trueman show program gives hope and joy and inspiration to millions. What does he mean? ----This movie satirizes the media, the emotional facade of television and look at reality shows. Discuss about the role of media in our life.

What to find? ----By talking to Truman on the live, does Christof hope to keep Truman? If yes, what are motives of Christof by keeping Truman in Seahaven? ----Imagine the life of Truman after he leaves Seahaven?
