Permanently enjoined the laws implementation and enforcement Decision appealed to N.C. Court of Appeals

Teachers Average 7 % salary increase Two major changes to the way teachers are paid: 1. Longevity payments eliminated 2. Salary schedule collapsed from 37 to 6 steps Salary bumps will occur at each sixth year step Base salary capped at $50, in year 25 Current teachers placed on schedule according to the year of experience for Current teachers on last six (6) steps of schedule will be grandfathered; keep their longevity and receive a one-time bonus of $1,000.00

Master’s/Advanced Degree Salary Supplements: Reinstated if one course was completed to 08/01/13 and qualified under SBE policy in effect 06/30/13

Principals and Assistant Principals Modification to Placement Masters and Doctoral degree supplement Maintain longevity Salary changes based on reassignment No increase - one time bonus of $809.00
