Steps to get modules mapped Syllabuses of overseas module and mapped NUS module should be similar in terms of contents, contact hours and assessments. Students should check the offering semester of the modules in the host university, and plan the modules accordingly. IMPORTANT “No-No” Do NOT leave the mapping process till the wee hours before you leave. Plan & seek approval in advance. Do NOT take an unapproved module overseas and assume it can be mapped back to NUS. No withdrawal from SEP once finalized. An administrative fee of at least S$300 (up to $500) will apply for withdrawal.

Returning from SEP Bring Transcript to ESP office to initiate the Credit Transfer Process. **important especially if the module taken overseas is the pre-requisite module of those intended to read for the following semester. Students may not be able to register in CORS if credit transfer is not completed.
