What is the IFE? A practicum Purpose: integrate theory and practice Opportunity to learn about the field of international health Structured and significant educational experience Usually takes place in a developing country Involves a preceptor, and faculty advisor Minimum of 8 weeks and 6 credit hours for everyone

The IFE is open to all students An academic requirement for:  Global Health Practice Students An Option for:  Communicable Diseases  Students from other disciplines ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS  Complete College Core Courses: PHC 6000, 6050, 6102, 6357, 6410  Meet with Faculty Advisor to discuss other courses selection  Other helpful courses:  PHC 6106, 6112,  6115, 6442

Lauren Gottfredson (Ecuador) Created a survey that aims to examine the psychological effects and quality of life impacts on leishmaniasis patients.

The first step is to log in to your Oasis account with your NetID Once you do this, you will see the Learning and Teaching toolbar. Hover your mouse tracker over this toolbar and you will see the dropdown menu. Click on “ADVISOR APPOINTMENTS”

The second step is to check the Campus and the area. The campus is Tampa and the area is College of Public Health

Please make sure to check the sub area is College of Public Health (International Programs)

Lastly, Check the reason for appointment and also leave a comment. This way, I will know why you are coming in and can be better prepared. Click on the calendar and propose a date and time. My office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday from 9 – 11:30.
