Domestic abuse is not gender specific

Women-protection laws or “Legal Terrorism”? There are no laws to protect men from domestic abuse and marital cruelty Women-protection laws unfairly assume that victims of marital cruelty are always women women are always honest victims the accused man and his family are guilty until proven innocent IPC 498A and other women-protection laws are being blatantly misused

Many falsely accused husbands have taken their lives unable to bear the humiliation and trauma of being labeled “GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT” and the frustration caused by delays in the justice system

Multiple independent sources indicate 98% of cases filed under Section 498A are baseless and filed with ulterior motives The Supreme Court of India has labeled misuse of section 498A as “legal terrorism” The Delhi High Court recently stated IPC's section 498A is the most abused provision

Section 498A is one of the major reasons for the Increasing Abuse of the Elderly in India. - The World Health Organization

NRI families are particularly vulnerable to misuse of women-protection laws and marital fraud Falsely accused NRIs face a lot of harassment at the hands of the Indian law enforcement system Innocent NRIs have lost their overseas jobs Their passports have been seized or impounded Interpol Red Corner Notices have been issued to extradite them NRI men in general are denigrated as wife abusers and fraudsters

All falsely accused Overseas Indians would gladly face trial to prove their innocence if a fair and speedy trial is made possible. Govt. of India has been issuing Red Corner Notices equating innocent citizens with dreaded international criminals.

Men need protection too… …from domestic abuse …from fraudulent marriages …from extortion …from misuse of women-protection laws and “legal terrorism”
