IRIS-BASIC > User should view the IRIS-SIMPLE tutorial first

PURPOSE Provide a rating interface/invoice template for use in various industries including transportation/logistics, home businesses or any industry requiring a simplified, rating/invoicing method. >

Pathway to Ratesheet > IRIS-BASIC allows the user to designate a pathway to a source ratesheet. IRIS will then use the data on the ratesheet to supply rates to the interface. Ratesheet/Workbook pathway including extension. And sheet name within Workbook. Note how these are all the column headers for the Interface. The letters are the column letters where these elements are on the source ratesheet

Matching Ratesheet Elements > These are the 2 elements the user indicates to match within the source ratesheet. If EITHER of these elements are matched within the source ratesheet columns indicated, these rates will populate on the Interface. These 2 columns on the source ratesheet will be used to match 2 elements the user will indicate. Will also populate if either placement within the source ratesheet contains the word “all”.

Sample Source Ratesheet > Back on slides 4-5, notice Match 1=Test1 and Match 2=subgroup. This means all rows with these elements in columns B and C will populate on the Interface. All rows with “all” in either column B or C will also be returned as it MAY apply. On the Interface, the user will have ability to exclude any charges.

HOW TO USE > On the Interface, press the CALCULATE link. If everything in the configurations has been set correctly, the source ratesheet will be quickly opened in read-only mode and data populated on the Interface’s rate lines section. These lines automatically populate based on the source rate sheet. And automatically calculate based on the criteria basis.

EXTRAS > Input an X into column F of the row to exclude from calculating as USD. This will also exclude it when PRINT VIEW is pressed. This magenta cell indicates a need to input a currency code, such as USD or EUR or any other code.
