FOUR MAJOR COMPONENTS: I. LITERATURE II. COMPOSITION III. VOCABULARY IV. GRAMMAR

I. LITERATURE ROMEO AND JULIET LORD OF THE FLIES TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD NIGHT

II. COMPOSITION INSTRUCTION IN WRITING WILL FOCUS ON THE WRITING PROCESS, THE PSSA WRITING DOMAINS, INCORPORATING GRAMMAR SKILLS INTO WRITING, AND USING PRIMARY TEXTUAL SUPPORT. YOU WILL WRITE FORMAL AND INFORMAL PIECES.

III. VOCABULARY WE WILL BE USING THE VOCABULARY WORKSHOP LEVEL E WORKBOOK.

THE USE OF SUBORDINATE CLAUSES AND VERBALS WILL BE THE FOCUS OF NEW INSTRUCTION. THE PRIORITY FOR GRAMMAR WILL BE UNDERSTANDING THE APPLICATION OF THE CONCEPTS TO IMPROVE WRITING. IV. GRAMMAR
