Presentation transcript:

Why Is It Important? The extension of our Kids’ Campus will make the first stop for young victims of abuse and violence a non-threatening, welcoming and child-friendly environment. For already traumatized children, the ordeal of an interview in a strange building like the police station can make them even more terrified. Our warm environment and expert interviewers alleviate the experience of the children who are often just hours removed from the source of trauma. These interviews are often the basis for convictions of child perpetrators. How Can You Help? Participating in the DCAC Adopt-A-Room Campaign gives individual and corporate supporters an opportunity to contribute to the renovation of our Kid’s Campus to make our dream a reality, while also enabling exposure and recognition opportunities. Your generous support will be acknowledged in the room of your choice, throughout the house, and on our newly launching website. See details on opposite page to learn more about the levels and options for support. DCAC Adopt-A-Room Campaign Help us extend our services to another 1000 children in need every year!
