Where is Dresden?

Dresden is located in the South-East of Germany between Berlin and Praha (Czech Republic)‏ Berlin Capital of Germany 200km North of Dresde n Prag (Praha)‏ Capital of Czech Republic 150km South of Dresden Dresden Capital of the German federal state Saxony

Dresden is a city with a rich culture (baroque and modern architecture, many museums and theatres, a lot of parcs), a modern industry (Saxonian silicion valey) and a place of high education and research. It has about inhabitants.

The Technical University Dresden is a full university with about students – from engineering over sciences, mathematics, economy to humanities and medicine. The campus is located in the South of the city.

The conference will be held in the Willers-Building and the Central Lectures Halls. The Willers-Bau is the home of the mathematical institutes and also of important collections of mathematical 3d models and of historical computing machines, e.g. from W. Schickard and G. W. Leibniz.
