Food is not allowed in class. Water is the only drink allowed in class. Gum chewing is not allowed! First offense= warning Second offense= detention !

Grading Policy Class work/spot check: 5-40 points (Except for spot checks, I’ll always tell you before you begin working) Quiz: Around 50 points Test: Around 100 points Big Project: Around 120 points

How to Figure Out My Grade Divide the top number by the bottom number Round to the nearest hundredth, and that will give you your grade. Example: I got a 47/50 on my vocab quiz. When I divide 47 by 50, I get.94 It is already rounded to the nearest hundredth, so my grade is a 94%.

Homework will count for 10% of your term grade. You may receive a check plus, check, or check minus on each assignment.

Homework, continued Every ten homework assignments will count as a quiz grade (50 points). Check plus= extra credit (7 points) Check= full credit (5 points) Check minus=half credit (2 points) Zero= zero points

How Do I Get a Check Plus? Make your homework NEAT and COMPLETE!

Homework Policy (continued) Detention Policy If you miss three homework assignments over the course of a month, you will receive a detention.

Additional Procedures and Policies A class runs better when everyone is on the same page regarding policies. For this reason, let’s quickly run through the Master Plan, which contains many important procedures for class. Procedures may be added as the year goes on.

Contact Information Phone Number: x401 Homework: Teacher page on EBPS website.
