JSTOR, a research platform that enables discovery, access, and preservation of scholarly content, merged with ITHAKA in 2009 and is a service of the organization. ITHAKA is a not-for-profit organization that helps the academic community use digital technologies to preserve the scholarly record and to advance research and teaching in sustainable ways.
