In the perceived future, instead of benefiting humans, technology actually turns against us and harms us instead. Examples could be global warming or malicious robots.

Many of us are unable to ‘live’ without S & T in the present world (Computer, Handphones, Facebook), who knows what would happen in the future? If these happens, we will be unable to survive without the help of S & T, imagine what would happen if there was a power failure in the whole world for a week? (Extinction of Humans?)

If one day we create a piece of technology that is so intelligent that we loses control over it, what would happen? If we really lose control of our own inventions(due to technology gaining Sentience ) in the future, there is a high possibilty of these technologies competing with the human race for survival on Earth (and there’s a high chance we may lose).
