Sullivan Institute / MGMA Meeting Dec. 9 Held in Wash DC at BCBSA WEDI Health ID Card + ONC Blue Button = Patient In-take Process mobile app To create a solution blueprint for a mobile and portal solution that will allow the provider’s “clipboard” of demographic, insurance and clinical information to a smart phone app

Virtual Clipboard Pilot Agenda: Stakeholder perspectives of Sullivan Institute, BCBSA, MGMA, Aetna, HATA & HIMSS Review of innovations within health plans and practice management vendors Business use case perspectives for payers, providers, patients and mobility Requirements for privacy and security Identification of key requirements and priorities for the pilot Measuring success Identifying next steps and pilot subcommittees Recruiting volunteers to participate in the design and implementation of the pilot

Virtual Clipboard Pilot Virtual clipboard solution: Pilot Phase 1: Demographics & Coverage Pilot Phase 2: Medications and Allergies 4 Subcommittees Solution Design (Survey, Experience) & Adoption. This subcommittee will be responsible for obtaining provider, patient and payer input on the proposed solution prior to ensure the desired experience is achieved and will oversee the functionality design. Future responsibility will include for the rollout and training of the pilot to ensure desired adoption Solution Blueprint. This subcommittee will be responsible for the technical design of the pilot including but not limited to portals, mobile solution, connectivity layer, data format Privacy and Security. This subcommittee will be responsible to ensure that the solution design meets current privacy and security standards and regulations Measuring Success. This subcommittee will be responsible for establishing indicators on efficiencies, financials and experience that will be measured both pre- and post-pilot to determine the success of the pilot solution
