The Day We Made Apple Juice

Something special happened on Wednesday. We all made apple juice together. First we sat nicely and listened to our visitors. They showed us their apples and pears. Some were red and some were green. First we had to cut the apples and the pears into smaller chunks.

Then we had to put all the little bits of fruit in a special bucket. The bucket was black.

Next we had to squash the apples and the pears. We used a posher. We moved it up and down. It squashed the apples and the pears.

Next we had to use the apple press to press out the juice. It was hard work to make the handle go around and around.

Look at all the juice we produced! We all tried some and Jonathan really liked it. Yummy, yummy!
