PRESENTATION LEADER: Responsible for leading creative Bible lesson presentations. Preparation necessary using various methods (PowerPoint, drama, puppets, interactive video, object lessons, etc.). INTERACTION LEADER/HELPER: Leads/Helps children in interactive activities, such as memory verses, games, puzzles, competitive Bible drills, and more. PRAISE & WORSHIP LEADER: Responsible for leading the children in upbeat, kid-friendly music with motions, as well as teaching slower worship songs to start developing an attitude of awe for our Lord. APPLICATION LEADER/HELPER: Leads/helps children in creative hands-on activities (crafts, coloring pages, science experiments, object lessons, and other activities). CREW HELPERS: These are the people who build relationships by meeting and greeting the children, assisting with a helping hand throughout the service with whatever is needed. CHECKPOINT STAFF: These leaders provide a smile, and a welcome as they check-in children and new visitors. DOOR GREETER/ SECURITY MONITOR: This person stands at the door of the children’s area and checks for security badges prior to allowing entrance into the secured area. Maintains security during the service. Must be strong-willed enough to uphold the entrance policy and SWEET enough to do it with a smile! TECH CREW: Audio/Video/Lighting – experienced or willing to learn. DRAMA: Work with a group of children, developing dramas to present in children’s church. QUALIFICATIONS FOR CHILDREN’S MINISTRY VOLUNTEERS... Children’s ministry volunteers who are in a place of responsibility in the church are expected to be examples in faith, conduct, and family life. Maintaining a high standard for workers is one of the best ways to present Christ to the people of our church and community. Therefore, the following guidelines will be required of any person who volunteers in the children’s ministry at CFTN.
